A LITTLE HISTORY OF FIRMA STELLA
As a child, Firma Stella CEO Peter Johnson became obsessed with collecting autographs. After leaving school he set his sights on travelling the world, visiting some of the world’s biggest sporting events, from the Euros in Poland, Cricket in Australia to the F1 in Melbourne & Kuala Lumpur! On his return, he set up Firma Stella to follow his passion for collecting sporting memorabilia. The company is now one of the biggest retailers of sports autographs in the UK and has regular customers all over the world.
According to Peter:
“There is something really special about collecting memorabilia. Each piece is a permanent reminder of a special moment in a sport’s star or team’s career. It forms an emotional connection to an item. That moment of sporting greatness forever celebrated in a unique piece, be it a football, rugby shirt or cricket bat, signed by the player! Who can forget when England won the rugby world cup in 2003? l have collected hundreds of special items over the years and each one takes me back to that special moment, forming a connection to the success and sporting achievement!”
The company has been built from the ground up, self-financed, with years of blood sweat and tears going into it, driven by the passions of the owner – sports, travel and entrepreneurship!
