Lando Norris is a British F1 racing driver. The racing superstar currently competes in Formula One and has six podium finishes under his belt. He races for McClaren under the car number four. As with a number of F1 drivers, his racing career started on the kart track. He initially competed in the Super 1 National Kart Championships. Norris started racing aged just 7, claiming pole-position in his first race.
He joined McClaren in 2017 as a junior and was labelled a fabulous prospect with the racing giants. He joined the Formula 1 World Championships in 2019. Norris made his F1 debut in Australia, finishing an impressive 12th in his first race. His next race earned him Championship points in Bahrain by finishing sixth. In 2021 he achieved his first pole position at the Russian Grand Prix. Challenging conditions and the decision to race with dry tyres led to him losing the lead. He ultimately finished 7th in the race.
His best finish to date is 2nd at the Italian Grand Prix in 2021. He also has five 3rd-place finishes so far in his career.
