Pierre Gasly is an Formula One racing driver, currently driving for the Scuderia AlphaTauri team. He has previously raced for Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing. He won his first Grand Prix with Toro Rosso. This was the Italian Grand Prix in 2020. It remains the only victory to date for the French driver. He has however had two other podium triumphs. He came second in the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2019. His other step onto the podium was a third-place finish in 2021 at the famous street Grand Prix in Monaco. This helped elevate his status in the world circuit. Following the race, many people were on the look out for a Pierre Gasly signature on their racing memorabilia.
The racing superstar started racing in competitive karting when he was aged just ten. He then moved up the racing ranks to eventually move up to Formula E and then Formula One. His first entry in Formula One was the in-season test in Barcelone in 2015. The first Grand Prix he raced in was in Malaysia in 2017 where he finished 14th. This was one position ahead of where he started on the grid.
