Freddie is a Swedish former pro football who played predominantly as a winger or attacking midfielder. His career started out in Sweden in the youth team at Halmstad in 1982. After 12 years with the youth team, he was promoted to the senior team in 1994. After 4 years with Halmstead he secured a transfer to English side Arsenal. During his 9 year spell, he won a number of titles including the Premier League title twice, the FA Cup three times and the Charity Shield. Such was his influence on the team he won the Premier League Player of the Season award in 2001-2002
Ljungberg earned 75 caps for the Swedish national football team between 1998 and 2008. He scored 14 goals for his country playing at two World Cups and three Euro Championships. The Swedish superstar captained his country between 2006 and 2008. He was equally famed for his looks, as he was his football skills. As well as working for big brands such as Nike, L’Oreal, ESPN and Pepsi, he was also an underwear model for Calvin Klein underwear
