Mason was born on the south coast of England. He was destined to play football having trained with Chelsea and Portsmouth football academies at the tender age of 4. His main role is as an attacking midfielder or in central midfield. He joined the Chelsea youth team in 2005 aged 14. Mason spent 12 years in the youth setup before being promoted to the senior team in 2017. He showed his winning mentality by winning a number of trophies in the youth setup. Chelsea loaned him out for two years to gain invaluable experience. Mount made it to the first team in 2019 and is now a regular for both Chelsea and the England national team. Aged just 23, he already has 26 England caps to his name. He has scored 4 goals for his national team to date.
