Viera is the current manager of Crystal Palace. He was a professional footballer between 1994 and 2011, starting out at French side Cannes. Patrick moved between Italy and England during his playing career, spending the majority of his time at Arsenal between 1996 and 2005. In this period he captained his club to 3 Premier League titles and 5 FA Cup victories. He would also later win the FA Cup with Man City. During his time in Italy, he won 4 League Titles, all of which were back-to-back. He is a a true legend and extremely popular with the fans where he played. The French legend was an extremely competitive player, famous for his aggressive and combative style of play. He won 107 caps for France and won the World Cup in 1998, the Euros in 2000, and the Confederations Cup in 2001. Viera would later go on to captain his country before retiring from international duty in 2010. His playing career ended in 2011 and he took on a role in the Man City academy. Following his stint there, he has moved into senior coaching roles where his leadership skills have excelled.
