Zinedine Zidane is one of the best football players of all time. He played as a highly creative attacking midfielder. Zidane was renowned for his passing, control, technique and elegant style of player. He has played 108 times for the French national team and won the 1998 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2000. He scored twice in the final of the 1998 World Cup to help France to victory. Zidane won Player of the Tournament at Euro 2000. He also won Player of the Tournament at the World Cup in 2006. This is despite being sent off for headbutting Materazzi in the final.

Zidane started his career at Cannes before moving onto Bordeaux and then Juventus.  He joined Real Madrid in 2001 in a world-record transfer of 77.5 million Euros. During his time as player he won La Liga and the 2002 UEFA Champions League, scoring a sensational volley which proved to b the winner. Following retirement, he transitioned seamlessly into management. Zidane managed Real Madrid to incredible success. He won three consecutive UEFA Champions League titles, two UEFA Super Cups, two FIFA Club World Cups and La Liga. Zidane went on to be named the Best FIFA Coach in 2017.
