Antoine Dupont is the current captain of the French national rugby union team. Dupont is considered by many as one of the best scums in the history of the game. The French legend started playing rugby at the tender age of four for Magnoac FC. He went on to sign for Auch as a junior aged 14 in 2011. He spent three years with Magnoac before moving on to Castres who played in the Top 14. Dupont had a very successful time with Castres between 2014 and 2017 making 60 appearances, and scoring 44 points. He represented the France U20 team 11 times in 2016 and also the French Barbarians. Dupont made an immediate impact at Toulouse and helped the team win the Heinekin Champions Cup and the Top 14 Championship. During his time at Toulouse he studied at the Toulouse School of Management for a Master’s degree in Sport Management. To date he has made 82 appearances for the side, scoring 185 points. He made his full international debut for France in 2017 in the 2017 Six Nations Championships against Italy. Dupont has since become a regular in the French team and was rewarded with the captaincy.
