Alexander Sascha Zverev is in the top 10 professional tennis players in the world. As such the Zverev signature is in high demand. The German tennis legend was born in Hamburg in 1997, to Russian parents. Tennis runs through the family with Alexander’s brother, Mischa, also a professional tennis player. With both their parents being professional tennis players, it was little surprise their children followed in their footsteps. Alexander’s parents moved to Germany following the collapse of the Soviet Union.
Zverev started playing tennis at the tender age of three. His mother coached him, whilst his father coached his brother. He won his first major junior singles title in 2014, winning the Australian Junior Open. His success followed him into the professional circuit winning the Challenger Tour aged just 17. He beat Roger Federer to win an ATP title whilst he was still a teenager. Since 2017 he has consistently been in the Top 10 World Rankings. To date, he was been victorious in 19 ATP Tour singles titles, in addition to two doubles titles. His best performance in a major Grand Slam tournament is a finalist at the 2020 US Open. Added to this he has played an integral part at the Laver Cup, helping Team Europe to victory in 2018 and 2019.
